Okauchee Lake

This beautiful lake has almost 30 miles of shoreline and almost 1,000 homes encircling its 1,210 acres. With a maximum depth of 90 feet and its numerous bays and channels, Okauchee Lake offers the full gamut of lake activities! From waterskiing and wake boarding, to fishing and kayaking - there is something here for everyone! The Fourth of July is a highlight of summer life on Okauchee Lake, as the fireworks are a true spectacle to behold. Also, keep your ears peeled for the famous annual "tie-up" that occurs every summer on a Sunday afternoon in July where up to 100 boats gather near "party island." There is a great offering of restaurants and shopping in the local areas, so you will never be at a loss for something to do "off water" as well.
